Joel began his career in the lending industry in 1994 in personal finance, where he helped individuals navigate credit, budgeting, and lending solutions. In 1997, he transitioned into real estate finance, where he discovered his passion — helping people achieve the dream of homeownership.

As the 2000s unfolded, Joel became one of the early adopters of real estate investing, embracing the “fix-and-flip” model long before it became mainstream through HGTV and similar media outlets. During this time, he worked alongside investors, builders, and agents to fund and structure profitable rehab and resale deals across Texas and beyond.

Throughout the 2010s, Joel evolved into a respected leader in commercial real estate finance, successfully executing transactions ranging from small local developments to complex, large-scale projects. His ability to navigate both conventional and creative deal structures positioned him as a go-to expert in commercial lending.

Together, they’ve raised three incredible children: Jake, a proud police officer; Delta, who works with children on the autism spectrum; and Jefferson Chase, the youngest, who is now learning the family business and carrying the torch forward.
